Welcome

Two women talking in a cafe

Generally, people do not use the words “risk” or “resilience”, but they do talk about about a host of issues and stories connected to these concepts, shaping how they think about the various threats to their lives and how to put themselves in a better position to deal with them. In other words how non-professionals/academics think and talk about such issues. This workshop is a chance to discuss research about this and connect to other researchers concerning this domain. Please see “The Topic” for more details. If this is of interest to you, please email: Bruce.edmonds@gmail.com

Registration Page now open

If you are interested in participating, and/or presenting your work, then please goto the page https://www.4tu.nl/resilience/news-and-events/events/talking-about-risks-and-resilience/

If we get more people expressing interest than we have space/funds for we will have to select among those interested, which we will do based on (a) the relevance of their research to the topic (b) whether they are offering to do a presentation of this at the workshop and (c) otherwise prioritising researchers earlier in their career. Non-academics, such as those in NGOs, policy etc. are welcome.
